I\'ve budgeted around £1500 - but am still waiting for the formal quote to come through.

Looks like I\'m over-spending here too. :lol::lol:

I\'m hoping to spend as little as possible! Just me and my BMs and buttonholes for the men. I don\'t think we can afford reception flowers - if we do it\'ll probably be phalenopsis (??) orchids in jars from M&S, very elegant! and for the ceremony, I\'m seriously considering hiring a couple of topiary bay trees from HSS hire - gives the room structure and height without costing the silly prices that pedestal flowers arrangements cost!:o

Hello,

My bouquet is costing £80, I\'m hoping its not going to cost more than £150 for the church about £30 for assorted button holes & corsages for the wedding party and for the reception venue I\'m going to go to flower shops/nurseries/diy shops whatever to buy flowering plants, a bit of ribbon around the pot and plonk it on the tables.

A friend of mine said that she went to about 5 weddings in the course of last year and only noticed the flowers at the reception venue once! so that decided me about going cheap there, plus my relatives can take the plants home with them.

As little as possible - I really don\'t care about the flowers, and its a civil ceremony and the room we are using is small. Probably have a bouquet of white/lavender roses. Simple, classy and cheap! :D

I\'m hoping to save loads on flowers by having feathers instead for the buttonholes and bouquet
