i am so excited we have just booked a dress the dress shoot.

we are going to woodland and have some nice romantic shoots taken.

i have thought about it for months really,

and the best bit is we only have to pay for the printing of pictures

Trash the dress is for after the wedding. You get all dolled up again so you can have pictures walking down the beach or in a wood. The dress might get trashed but you get some nice alternative pictures.

Never heard of it........... wonder if it's something you can do "years" after your wedding (although I don't think hubby would do it wearing his uniform, maybe he'd do it in combats )

I guess I sort of did that when we had our pics done at home after New York. It had been raining so there was puddles, mud, wet grass everywhere! My dress didn't get too dirty but as I had it cleaned after NY I was not cleaning it again (not at 60 quid a go!)

I find it a very weird idea. For me the photos were a memory of our wedding not of the dress and all that gumph. To me if the pics werent taken then then they have no specialness to them anyway. I'm an old married cynic now though and as much as our wedding is a lovely day to look back on the 5 years of marriage and the things we've managed to survive and the joys we've had are just as important to me. (yes I know I'm on a wedding site)
