My lot are having the same - an ivory box with gold ribbon round filled with chocolates in a gold coating! If they dont like it - tuff! Am sure someone else will offer to eat them if they dont like them (me for example!)

In the end we didn't give out favours to anyone - and nobody seemed to mind or even noticed they were missing!

Don't know what happened to our favours - one minute they were there - the next they were gone.

Think that men and women alike just grabbed them and ran! The tuxedo boxes are very cool though and it does mean you can give out the same to everyone.

At one of Karen's friends weddings, the girls got a lip moisturiser thingy and the blokes got a small lego model to make . I think that sounds like it was a damn good idea. On the photos, the men had made the models and were fighting each other, putting them in glasses, etc and generally mucking around.

Hmmmmm, sounds a damn fine idea.

(just off to talk to karen...............)

I am having bags of penny sweets that we are just giving to everyone. I don't care if they eat them or not to be honest, but it is what we are tying the name tag to so they are getting one!

Good luck in picking something. What about Kinder Eggs? A surprise, chocolate AND a toy!

I've decided that i am only giving favours to the ladies. My favours are going to be haribo sweets as they are my favs from when i was a little girl.

I don't think the men will be too fussed that they didn't get a box filled with jelly sweets!!!!

Men are getting Jack at our wedding!

I don't really like the idea of minatures and I was stuck as to what else to get them, so they don't get!

We are having gold boxes for both the men and the women. In the boxes we have a choccie heart and a small rose. The box will be tied with red ribbon, they will also have a tag with the guests name. So we do not have to worry about place names.

For the kids we have got disney boxes with smarties in. Smarties... may fav....
