Default Going shopping!!!

Okay, I know my wedding isn't until next June but I saw some gorgeous dresses for my BM's today so we are going on Monday to look at them. If they are right we will buy them. After everything being so slow recently I feel good today, after all if we get the dresses then it'll be shoes next!!
I had arranged to go shopping with my matron of honour in Glasgow on Thursday next week but we have decided we are still going to go even if we get the dresses (good excuse for a day out and a pub lunch!)
I think I maybe too organsied.......can you ever be TOO organised?

I don't think you can ever be TOO organised, just comfortably so! My check, check and check again routine worked for me and the day was fab!

Good for you, hope you find something you like and enjoy your pub lunch!

lucky you!!! I'm so jealous! lol

I HAVE my BM's dresses all here - but unfortunately they're in rolls of material, and patterns format My sis (CBM) wont even let us START making her dress cos she says shes gonna lose weight but she's been a size 10/12 since she was about 17! (shes 26 this yr so I dont see her losing THAT much and besides she's a skinny minnie! she doesnt need it!!!) Grrrr

I'm sooooo dying to see it! and my mum is just ITCHING to get started!

I was in the car with me mum today and we were discussing how its nearly a year to go and how it will fly by and I told her am not throwing my bouquet and she was about to say how it was tradition until I told her I'm taking it to the cemetary the day after and placing it on my grandads place where his ashes were scattered (it was her dad and he lived with us until he died of a brain tumour and she took care of him until the very end) and she got all upset and said how lovely it was and she'd find his plot number for me - was nice.

<sigh> I miss my grandad but I know he's still about

Huggggs
you've now made me give my sis a kick up the ass and tough were gonna make her damn dress!

awww Niddy big hugs I know how it is to miss someone.
My grandad died several years ago a month off his 89th brithday, he lived with my mum and dad since they got married as he lost his wife when my mum was only 17. He was always around and looked after me when I came home from school etc.
Take heart that your grandad and those who have left us will be there in spirit on our special days.
