Talking We have rings!!! Wooohoooo!!
At last!!!Some good new's!!

We ordered our wedding rings on MONDAY this week, and had a call today from the jewellers saying they are in!!

Going down tomorrow to try them on, but they have to stay there until we pay the balance

Just wanted to share my good news with everyone!!

Matt's wedding ring is safely hidden in my "Knicker Drawer" .... it's the only place he won't think to look! (He kept trying it on the day we picked it up!)

Still no news on my ring though.... if it's not here next week then I'm going to pop back in and get them to ring up as it will have been nearly 8 weeks and they said it would only be 6!!!!

Great news Fran!

Ours are in Glasgow with the best man. We ordered them when we were on holiday in Edinburgh, and we haven't seen them since. He is bringing them to our stag/hen night next month for us to try on..... I can't wait to see them again!

That's great Fran - it makes it all seem better when something goes right doesn't it? Talking of rings, I'd best get my H2Bs engagement ring in to be resized and recoated and get them both engraved (H2B doesn't want a wedding ring as they one he wanted was outwith our budget so he's just having his engagement ring as a wedding ring )

mines back too wooohooo fran ive also been waiting ages 7wks tomorrow did you order yours from Goldsmiths by anychance??

simons came back within a week and a half but mines taken ages and its only a plain band but shaped around my e.ring

nevermind they're back now have fun trying it on tomorrow.,

Thats great news!
We ordered ours months ago but only had them engraved a few weeks back.
We just have plain gold D bands, his is thicker than mine and we have our initials and wedding date inside!!

Yep tis me who's been waiting AGESSSSSSSSSSSSSs...... Mine's been ordered from Ernest Jones... part of the reason for the delay is it's a "designed" ring!
I went into the shop yesterday, the manager said he'd phone, but it was Saturday and no one answered! He's put it into the diary and is going to ring the design place on Monday, he'll either phone & let me know or I'm in town on Thursday for my Dress fitting so I'll pop in then! (He did say that the design place are being really slow at the moment in general!!! )

Doesn't help that I'm meeting the in-laws on the weekend and it looks like I won't have a ring to show off, just my design drawing!
