It's official - I went to try on my wedding dress yesterday - AND GOT TO TAKE IT HOME!!!!!!

It's hanging in my mum's house and I kept keeking round the door to see if it was still there as I couldn't quite believe that 8 weeks tomorrow I will be wearing it for real..........scary but SOOOOO exciting!!!

I want to wear it round the house!

Ooohhh not long to go now!

I'd be so tempted to put it on all the time, but then I think I would become too familiar with it and it wouldnt seem as special.

Is everything else more or less sorted?

Yep, just got all the fittings to go now for the BMs and FG etc - have to book a meeting with the videographer and that's it! Have got to pay our honeymoon next week.......everything's happening now! Don't know whether to throw up or jump up and down! Bianca- your wedding may seem a long way off just now, but it will FLY in, believe me! I ordered my dress in April 2001 and can't believe I'll be wearing it for real in 8 weeks!

Oh I hope it does fly by, I really do! Though at the same time I know I shouldnt wish my life away and I should enjoy the build up to it all!

Where are you going on your honeymoon? You must be soo excited!!

It all seems real now doesn't it. Mine is 3 months today, and it has come around so quickly! It doesn't seem like five minutes ago that we started planning, but it is actually 18 months! Where does all the time go???

We're going to a 5 star resort in the desert in Arizona, just outside Tucson called Ventana Canyon - we've hired a converitble car for 10 days (SO Thelma and Louise!!) to do some touring whilst we're there and then we're stopping off in Las Vegas, staying the Venetian for 4 days before we come home - I am SO excited about it!

Where are you guys going?

I was exactly the same when I bought mine home.
Mine too is at mums house and I am just dying to try it on at least once a day!
Only 4 weeks until I will be wearing it for REAL!!!!
