Nearly went into shock this afternoon!

We booked the flights for the honeymoon back in January and as part of the deal, it included overnight accommodation in Singapore. Anyway, decided to call today to upgrade the hotel accommodation. The phone was ringing for ages so did a search on them on the internet (Scot and Fox) and discovered that they went bust in March .

Anyway, calmed down a bit and phone the Civil Aviation Authority helpline for advice. They said since I had the tickets already, it would probably be okay but call Singapore Airlines to check it out. I phoned them and they confirmed we were still booked and everything was fine . However, there was no record of overnight accommodation so they are sending me a brochure tomorrow with their deals on overnight stops. They went through the prices and I couldn't believe how cheap it was. The midband range they said was way better than anything in the UK so I've decided to go for the top-level hotel and will probably book this ....
