Default Awkward H2b!!!

Girls and Jonathon!

Actually it would be nice to have a man\'s input on this, or am I turning into a bossy b2b!!!

Anyway, we have been engaged for just over 5 months, and get married 02-11-02.

H2b still hasn\'t decided on his best man, he is saying that it isn\'t an important issue!!
:?: well to me, I think it is!

Now tho, we have to put the best man\'s name forward to the photographer, so I said now he has to choose!

Am I being a bossy b2b, or should he have chosen 1 by now?

All thought welcome, and no I won\'t get mad like they do on confetti!!:lol::lol:

Ness.

The photographer doesn\'t need to know yet, but he will when you talk to him about what photos you want. If H2B doesn\'t know yet, then that\'s fine. He might be struggling to choose - fractionally too late, I thought that Chris could have had two best men.
Just ease off.......he\'ll do it when he\'s good and ready!

Boy\'s opinion here

Firstly, I\'m suprised the photographer wants to know the name of the BM, sure they don\'t need to know at this stage. But don\'t tell H2B that, otherwise he will drag his feet.

I can\'t really explain why it would take that long to decide on a BM. It was an obvious choice to me, Andy is my best friend. Maybe your H2B finds it a really tough choice if he has a few very close friends, I could understand not wishing to comit to such a decision quickly and dismisses it as \"unimportant\". I think he does think its important, but can\'t come out and say it is and admit he\'s finding the decision tough.

Maybe the best solution would be to sit down with H2B and chat through why he hasn\'t made a decision, don\'t push him too hard, rather try to understand his dilemma and try to guide him through it.

See, I can be sensible some times :D.

Hope this helps, and good luck.

J x

Default Indecision

Hi, I just wanted to tell you what a cousin of mine did for his wedding.

He had 2 \'better men\' :P:P The speeches were hilarious - they each congratulated each other on having beaten several other mates to get to the top table so they could make the speech that would embarrass the groom....and it went from there! Very very funny. There is no reason in this day and age why we should expect our h2b to be conservative if we\'re not!

I think that a groomsman is the second attendant to the groom - ie best man and groomsman - I hope ! (Don\'t take this as gospel!)

You don\'t want to rush him into choosing someone that might not be the best choice!!! I think that Rich is almost regretting asking his oldest friend and not another good friend from uni!!
