Mobile Beauty Services in Sheffield??? - Wedding Forum

Hi everyone

I am getting married on 1st August, and have had absolutely no luck finding a mobile Hairdresser/make-up lady or nail technician in the Sheffield area.

I am on a VERY restricted budget, but would like info so that I can work out whether a little pampering is within my means

Can anyone help???? PLEASE????

Girlytrude!!! Hope you visit us regularly!

I'll ask my fiancee for the name of the lady she spoke to her for her make-up. She was going to use her but she is out of the country for our wedding day, but we met her at a wedding fair and she seemed very aware of what Karen wanted rather than trying to impose her views which was nice. Anyway, I think she operated out of the Wakefield area so she may be worth a try. I'll report back, probably tomorrow

hi girlytrude!

i'm in sheffield too but i have absolutely no idea of anyone (my wedding is too far away for me to think of stuff like that yet!)

But when i was on Shoreham Street the other day i walked past a shop that was a hairdressers, beauty salon and they did nails as well. I cant remember what is was called but it was directly opposite the football ground.

Thanks for that Kate, but unfortunately it's too far away. I'm actually in Stocksbridge, and it takes from 45 minutes -> an hour, just to get to the town centre from here; so trying to get somewhere on the morning is a big no-no with an 8 year old in tow too!

i forget sometimes how far away from town stocksbridge is, as i'm pretty central you see.
