Hi everyone. I wanted to introduce myself. I'm Tina and it's my first time on this forum, although it'll be second time round for getting married. My first marriage was a big mistake. We were too young to know what we wanted - it just seemed like a good idea at the time!
This time though, I know it's right. We both work in nursing (I work with kids and my fiance John works on a general ward.) We met at the hospital 3 years ago when I was already divorced at the age of 26. I wish John was going to be my first husband - he's definitely my number one man.
We're not going for a really fancy wedding. We've booked the Registry Office for 24th July next year. I've realised that marrying the man of my dreams surrounded by all our close friends and family is more important to me than plush surroundings and an expensive dress.
Is there anyone else taking the plunge for the second time? I'd love to compare notes.
