How many of you met on the net?

Hi all!

I met Ben online - just one of those incredibly lucky things!

I wasn\'t looking for anything because I was still living with my ex (we had split up but I couldn\'t afford to leave the flat until we had sold it).

It was a horrible time, and I almost felt like I was having an affair or something! But I wasn\'t.

Ben and I emailed each other for about 3 months before we finally met up.

I knew I had to sieze the day and keep him!! hehe

So... tell all...

Mark and I met online also, at the official forum he runs for Iron Maiden. I had been posting there for a few months, and I knew who he was (the big bad moderator! :o ) and one night we just got chatting. We started to chat on ICQ and within 2 weeks I can say I was totally in love with him. Never had that experience with anyone else on line or in real life.

Obviously a slight pain in the bum because he was in Australia and I was in London, so the first 9 months were webcam and phone bill intensive. He made it over twice - once in late October for 2 weeks, that was our first meeting, and once in February (he came over for Valentines Day :D ). After that one I said I would move over to Oz which I did in May. My visa runs out next May and we will both be returning to England then. :)

I wasnt looking for anything either. I had split up with my ex (of 7 yrs) a few months before and was enjoying talking to friends and family online. Daniel sent me a msg on ICQ in Dec last year and we really clicked, we strarted chatting everyday and like Bev started to use the web cam and phone etc. I can talk to him about anything, it got to the point where we were spending up to 4hrs talking online as well as another 3 on the phone everyday He came up to visit me for the first time in March and it was so hard letting him go. He came up every month for a week or 2 then he proposed in Sept. I went down to stay with him the first week in Oct then he came back with me and moved in.

I never thought i would ever find my soul mate online :D:D

Hi!

I never thought I would meet someone on the Net. I thought that was just for techies with lots of time on their hands! (no offense intended here!).

But thinking about it, you probably learn so much more about a person by chatting to someone online and emailing them for months on end..

I\'ve never been so happy in my life!
