Worried that I'm not nervous!! - Wedding Forum

I'm getting married in 12 days time and I'm getting worried that I'm not nervous.

I'm busy in the morning at the venue and then getting my nails, hair done etc so I won't have time to think about things.

I'll probably get to walking to the Castle with my dad and look down and think "ooh that's a nice dress I'm wearing" and then it'll hit me that I'm getting married at which point I'll go to pot and shake and wurr my slurds!

Any advice apart from necking a full bottle of Kalms and a bottle of voddy!!!

One of my best friends was not at all nervous coming up to her wedding, even on the day of it. She was so sure of what they were doing, and had been with her h2b for years, that she had no doubts.

She said she had a fabulous time on her wedding day - there is no reason why you won't too...

I think its good that you are not nervous - it means that you will feel confident and probably enjoy yourself more!

I know I'll be nervous, not because I am getting married but because of all the people watching.

Hiya

I wasnt nervous atall... maybe a little aprehensive of it all, but more excited!

We had to move house the week after so had more than just the wedding to think about, which i think took my mind off it a bit.

On the morning, I did have a few butterflies in my tummy, but i was so busy getting ready, I didnt have time to get nervous!

You'll be fine, better to be calm and collected than

on your dress!

I wasn't nervous at all - extremely excited on the day - but not nervous.

The only little hiccup I had in my nerves was when I walked in and the whole church congregation turned round and started taking pictures which freaked me out a bit because it was so intense.

Apart from that I loved every minute.

I'm sure you will too.
