Help me please!!

Why do we have hoops in our scratcy peticoat that we wear ???

WHat difference would it make if we din't have one ? i am wondering if it is possible for me to take my peticoat off for the evening do!

Also have visions of sitting down and from of dress springing up.....

On a more serious note, I do not have one under my dress.. I think it just makes your dress lay flatter if you see what i mean, and not be so 'puffy'??

They make your dress look better and can help to lift the dress if you are short, but not short enough to have it taken up....

I have a hoop on mine and will probably take it off during the evening!!

Oi you! 2 points to remember:

1. You aren't having a hoop, just a full petticoat, and it isn't all itchy scratchy coz there's a nice soft layer in-between (plus, are you wearing stockings?)

2. With your commitment and determination (and the shape of your dress!) you don't need tummy hugging knickers!
