Well I was determined not to have them at all, but Mark wants to make a CD of all the wedding music, which I thought was a pretty cool thing. We are thinking of making it into a CD ROM - one of my best mates was one of the Oscar winning computer animators for Gladiator and we were going to ask him to make a littl animation of the tow of us. :D He\'s working on a couple of new movies though, so not sure that he will have the time.

We are sending out CD ROM business cards as thankyou\'s afterwards though, and going to put the wedding pics on them. The best bit is they are small and can fit in a wallet - people will be able to take them everywhere. :D

A lot of the people on the American sites are doing CD favours, just don\'t think it will go down that well at ours, I\'d just end up being pi**ed off that no one had taken them  thats why I\'ve gone for mainly edible ones that way if they do get left behind I can have them!! :)

Thanks Claire. :D

Well, I\'m still not 100% that I want them - it was Marks idea really, so anything to do with technology gets him going. ;) If we don\'t do them then we won\'t be bothering at all; I know that the majority of the people who are coming have no idea what a favour is anyway, so they won\'t be missed. We\'ll have to see how much the CD\'s cost here (they are cheaper than the UK so doing it here and brining them back would be the best bet).

For our favours were are going to have Shakespeare sonnet books tied with a piece of Raffier string with a label saying our names and the date. This ties in nicely with my shakespeare theme for the wedding.

As yet I haven\'t got this sorted, all seems to far away! But I would be quite happy with something traditional - at least it\'s cheap (ish, when compared to sonnet books, although that\'s great idea and if I could I would!!). But I fancied chocolate coffee beans instead of almonds as I don\'t like them.
I\'m keeping my eyes and ears open!!

Roz

It actually is working out cheaper with the sonnet books than with the traditional almonds. The books only cost about 70p each and the raffier was only £1 for an absolute load.

And it is better for my mum as she won\'t have to sit and make the almond favours like she did for my sister last year :)
