Vintage Buses? - Wedding Forum

We're thinking of hiring a vintage bus to take the day guests to and from the wedding and reception. Does anyone know of a company that hires them out? Or any idea how much they would be?

Oh - I'm in the Doncaster area.

Just had a look on-line, and for Yorkshire there is:

And they have a bus like this.........

I am just back from a wedding (my CBM) who was travelling in a Chambord (old simca) really nice!!!! It was red and cream, all polished... really nice and chic!

I'd be interested in the price!

I tried to hire one too but couldn't find a local compant to hire them. But I found out about a club that does up old buses. They were prepared to do a trip in one for a donation as long as we signed up to be members, and a companythat might be able to do it but wasn't sure. but when it comes to a wedding I was worried that they might not be reliable so have changed my mind.. I'm jealous!

Hiya

I've managed to get one quote of £505 which I don't think we can afford. Other companies have said its too far away or their coaches aren't available

May have to have a re-think!
