Not surprisingly but I really really love them so any ideas of cheaper places.......much cheaper places.....!!

I'm also thinking of getting my engament ring reset to match it...has anyone else done/doing this??? God I'm a greedy guts!

I know i am horribley organised!! i have my dress, shoes & Tiara too!!

I didn't get a certificate with my ring but it does have a proper hallmark so they are kosher - i was worried to start with but you can get some really good discounts and you can send them back if they are not right..

I would go to Hatton Garden. There are tones of jewellers there and everything is discounted because this is where they make the rings before they are sent to a lot of the larger jewellery chains. They are therefore at really cheap prices. I was a bit worried because some of the prices seemed a bit too good to be true but a friend works in the Silver vaults and has assured me that they are 100% and they get these jewellers to do anything they need doing.

Definately worth a look

If you are planning a weekend abroad, how about a trip to Amsterdam or Antwerp. Diamonds are much cheaper over here, and you get to do some site seeing at the same time!

I got my platinum ring with 5 diamonds from Swag. It was more than £500 but less than £1,000. But if that's still too much they also had loads of others from about £300 upwards.

You do know that if your Engagement ring is 18ct White gold then you need a 18ct White gold wedding band? Or if your Ering is platinum you need a platinum wedding band.

As the harder of the metals will wear down the softer one (9ct gold is harder than 18ct) and will ruin it.
