Have just had a call from my dressmaker...and i could scream.
I hired her in Feburary of last year and she has been working on my dream dress ever since. We were supposed to have a fitting on Saturday, she called and left a message on my machine..."sorry i can't make your fitting I'll be in Europe until July 28th" My wedding is the 24th of August, I leave for Scotland on the 18th of August and my dress is not done yet.
What is worse is the dress is totally paid for has been since 2001!

So I've gone into super bridal panic mode. I've bed on three dresses on ebay! (none more than 55$ us)

Am I insane or is she totally out of line????




So there is a good possability I will have 4 dresses to choose from on my wedding day.

anyone need a dress???

Awww Michelle - firstly, have a deep breath, and a hug!

You have every right to be mad about this - she really should have got your dress sorted before she went away! I think you are doing the right thing looking on EBay just in case. Try not to panic. I know it is easy for me to sit here and say that, but you will find it easier to sort out with a clear head.

I am also getting married on 24th August, and my dress is not turning up till the start of August at the earliest.

Hey - if the worst comes to the worst then you can open your own little EBay bridal shop to sell all 3 again!
