Went to Ikea to get some bits and bobs for our table centre pieces, 5 vases and some other bits and found these lovely glass pebbles to go in the bottom of them. As I started to remove them from the shelf I was acosted by this mad woman who started screeching at me not to buy them as she needed them for her wedding. Excuse me!? She could only carry so many at a time so as soon as she walked away (for the umpteenth time!) Mark and I raided the shelf. But if anyone needs these things they come in white, turquoise and a darkish purple and they are £1 for a pot! Fab value, except that all the white an Turq. ones were gone, and I got the last of the purple ones so you do have to be fast!
"Well so do I you mad old bat! Stop being a bridezilla!"
muhahahaa, and then you should of took em all and hidden em around in diffrerent places, so she'd spot em as she was walking round
Oh i'm such a bitch

I can hear the mission Impossible theme now "Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is too purhase as many glass beads from Ikea as you can, thus ruining bridezillas day just because she didnt get her baubles".
Bev, that has really cheered me up! I'm having a really shitty day but that had me laughing out loud - it instantly reminded me of the episode of Friends when Monica goes to pick her wedding dress and ends up fighting with other women in the shop - it was hilarious......anyone else see it????

IKEA on a Sunday???? And you expect NOT to meet nutters????
Trouble is, too many of us know that we can get Groovy Wedding things in Ikea - I say go armed with grenades, a sharp stick and a doggy (with big teeth)....
