Default Invites

Hi there

I am sending my invites out but just needed to know, have you put your wedding list cards in with it? I have for the day ones along with a poem saying a gift is not expected.

But do I put them in with the Evening ones or not? It's not just to make sure we get a pressie, it just seems easier and at this stage something being easier would be very very nice.

Advice would be great.

Thanks

We put a slip in ours with our web site address on it, rather than going straight to the gift list, just because I thought it would be easier to do one thing rather than worrying about who might and who might not be offended by being given the details up front.

Who are the invites from? If your parents then if guests have to get in touch with them (as they ought to be replying anyway) for details then it's not much more bother for anyone, if you then do whatever's easiest, no reason why evening invitees shouldn't be given all the information is there?

I put the cards that Thomas Cook (we're having travel vouchers) gave me in with all the cards.
My sister in law 2B got married last year and she didnt put them in hers - I was CBM and had lots of people asking me if they had a list so I say put the cards in the invites.

Love Anna

We put the gift list cards in with the invites for the day people, as it would be cheaper to do this than have them call up and ask for one and us have to send it on. But for the evening ones we are leaving it up to them to ask for a card if they want one.
