Question RSVP Addresses?

Hi All,

For those that have already sent your invites out, what address did you put to have the rsvp's back??

My parents are divorced, and even tho the invites are coming from them, we want the rsvp's to come back to us, so one of the parents don't feel left out.

Would that be alright do you think!??

I'd say so! We had ours go back to my mum's as we were in the process of moving. I got all jealous coz my mum kept ringing me up and saying that she'd got 5 or 6 and opening them!!!

As we are hosting the wedding ourselves all the replies will come to us. I don't see it being a problem if the replies go to you, it may cause less upset and at least you'll know exactly who's replied! I have a fear of being out of control if anyone helps as I think that things will get forgotten!!!

Even though my dad is hosting the wedding I have decided to put the RSVP address as mine and H2B. I am sure my dad wouldn't, but I have visions of him loosing RSVPs and not remebering who had and hadn't replied. Plus, I want to open them when they arrive.

I was also worried it wasn't right, but hey - who is to say what is and isn't right now adays. I can't imagine anyone taking offence by it.

we are having ours come back to us, we're hosting the wedding and not my parents, so it made more sense for us to get them

As my parents are hosting the wedding they are RSVP'ing back to them, but I'd say it would be ok to RSVP back to you, I don't see why not anyway, if you just explain this to your parents they should see it as the sensible thing to do.

Sounds like the perfect solution, ness..

We ended up hosting ours because my dad is dead, my mum remarried etc. Plus its not like we live with our parents or anything.

Go girl!

PS be warned - practise your back-flips now because you'll be doing them every time a reply card arrives!!

We also had invites from our parents, with the RSVPs addressed to us at our house.. I think it makes it so much easier!!

After all, you are the people that are going to have to do the table plans etc!!

Go girl!!

J and I are in the middle of sorting out invites, and we are having the rsvps to my house (it will be OUR home in a week or so). I KNOW my Dad would lose half of them anyway

our invites as far as the plan goes are going to my mum and dad but then i think my mum and dad will lose half them.

if we change the plans the party invites will go to my mums too
