We went with Wedding Plan - that comes in leaflets out of wedding mags - for £50 just because it was easy, we're not doing anything too obscure and thery all seemed much of a muchness really!!

We didn't get any insurance. We did look at it and was quoted £95 for the top package, but I had every faith and decided that if I did take it then it was just going to jinx my day!

But, it's a personal thing, so if you'll feel happier with it, I'd say take it out.

I think that at this stage of the game, it would be reasonable to go with a basic package just to cover things like photographer etc.

As you are so close, presumable everything else is okay??

We used E&L insurance, basic £50 package. It was very easy to get we just booked it over the phone. And for peace of mind it was worth it. Just in case the marquee fell down or the photos were terrible or any thing like that.
The funniest thing was that when Adrian was checking his bank statement there was a transaction to Ecquine and Liesure?? We had no idea what it was for and then we found the company details on the internet and they started life doing insurance for horses and them expanded to other things!!!

We've got some.

I'd rather spend £48 and not use it, then for something to go wrong.

However, that is what we thought, which isn't always what other people think!!
