Emma,
They are lovely.
Think about it - a big dress is not exactly sensible october-wear, so why not the shoes?!!!

I absolutely love that dress!
Also i think the shoes are perfect for it!
I know the wedding is in October, but how much time are you going to be spending outside?
That's my theory!

Its a lovely dress!!
But if I'm honest (please don't shoot me) I think the shoes might be a bit dark brown for it.
(begs for forgiveness)

I think the shoes are really lovely (and so is the dress). It is diificult to say whether the colours are too different because you never know what the light was like when the pictures where taken. But unless you get something dyed - it isn't going to be perfect and to be honest I actually prefer there to be slight colour differences. I think with colours like Gold it is can look nicer to have some slight shade differences.
For your info I was a bridesmaid last month (in Gold) and I got some gold sandals from New Look for £15. The heels were quite high but they looked really nice and certainly not as thogh they had cost £15.
Good Luck with your shopping.

What a stunning dress you have. The shoes are lovely too and make a difference from typical wedding footwear. You can always do what you said and buy them but look for something else 'just in case' Anyway, a girl can never have too many shoes!!

The shoes look really nice, and I happen to think they'll go with the dress very well.....
I say buy them, keep an eye out for something else if you're not totally sure, Like Paula says
"a girl can never have too many shoes!"

Those shoes are just like ones I was looking for except in silver. I ended up getting a cheap pair very similar, but with a strap around the ankle to stop them flip flopping, which makes walking hard on grass. That's the only warning I would have on those, I think they are beautiful.
Can't wait to see pics of you in that dress!

I really like those shoes. They do some simialar ones in silver in M&S as well (you can see them on the website) and I might get a pair for the evening because I think my feet will be killing each other by then!
