Thank you all. Well I'm back and now I'm a missus (and loving it).

The day was absolutely fantastic, we were so lucky with the weather - it poured the day before and again yesterday but managed to hold off on Thursday for us to get married outside - with two disabled guests this was a huge relief as they would never have made it up the narrow spiral staircase.

I continued my laid back bride thing until 12 o'clock when I thought "hmm, maybe I should go and shower" so when it got to 1.30 and I still had no make up or a dress on and the registrar was itching to see me as they had another ceremony it all got a little hectic.

We had to walk through the walled garden to get to the aisle and typical me I went stumbling down the stairs - none of the guests noticed but it really loosened dad and I up as we were pissing ourselves all the way down the aisle. Hubby (love saying that) struggled to hold back the tears and I couldn't look at my dad cos his sniffing would have really set me off. Everyone said the ceremony was beautiful, I can't really comment as I'm not sure I really listened I was too intent on looking at hubby.

I've already seen a few of the photos (our photographer brought them round on his lap top during the meal though he hasn't uploaded them onto the internet yet) and I'm so impressed - especially the photos of hubby and the ushers when they picked me up (and promptly dropped me on my head!) - just as well I'm a girl with a sense of humour.

Basically we want to do it all again and when everyone tells you the day wizzes by - they are not joking.

We finished the evening with bacon butties and fireworks which were a surprise from me and mum for everyone including hubby and he loved them.

I'll no doubt be popping back when I get back from honeymoon as I have to find out how it went for Roz and Mella yesterday then I'll be joining the smug marrieds.
