Default Does anyone have a pic of their dress yet?

Here\'s mine - slightly different pic to the one I posted elsewhere in the site, but this is actually more how I remember it. :)

I can\'t find a pic of mine anywhere on the net but the skirt isn\'t that dissimilar to yours Bev \'cept it\'s pale gold and I have a bodice type top in champagne and gold It is sleeveless but I\'m having it made with sleeves on to hide all my tattoo\'s

Tatoos - cool! :D

I\'ve got to get some nice little diamond earings to go in my 7 piercings - use to be 11 but I let the other close up, and I really cant be arsed to open them again. For some reason they always get infected, even years after Ive had them done. :?: Oh well, nevermind. :)

I never got into the loads of earings thing I don\'t like wearing them, but I did get my nose done to pi$$ my mum off! (before it was \"trendy\" then years later had my tongue done (great dieting tip you can only drink soup for days!!) then I had my eyebrow done but that wouldn\'t heal so they\'ve all gone now :(
But I\'ve still got my 10 tatoos to keep me happy!!

Default I\'ve got a small tat, and a piccy of my dress...

My tattoo is (hopefully although I know no-one who can back me up on this!) afive year one - which mum only found out about this weekend (dress shopping - quite hard to disguise!).!:o It\'s of a sun on my shoulder, quite discreet and can be hidden when necessary ( i.e. at work) but wedding dresses may be a different matter, although you can get make up from boots can\'t you?
My dress (although I haven\'t bought it yet and so am liable to change my mind at a moment\'s notice) is by Sincerity: but I don\'t know how to post it...:?:

The make up your talking about is derma blend, aparently the body shop are suposed to do one as well although I don\'t know how good it is but dermablend is suposed to be really good.

As for mine phew, were do I start!!!!
I\'ll start at the top. On my left upper arm I have one of a fairy pinning a scroll on to my arm that says Coral and one of a little imp playing a flute with Ben under it in a little box.
On my right shoulder is only what I can descibe as a shooting star but it\'s hearts!!
on my right upper arm I have a small butterfly and a band of ivy leaves going round.
On my left inner forarm I have julians name in an ancient alphabet and on my right wrist I have a bracelet of different coloured daisys and the same round my left ankle.
On my left lower back I have a pig( love \'em!!) and on the right I have a rose that Julian drew for me ah!!

and thats it for now!!!!!!!

Cool! :D

Roz - I love the dress, and I know what you mean about changing your mind! Little frightened about mine (wanted a straighter skirt and a puddle train but wouldn\'t suit my big fat arse!) but as I\'ve said before unless your a size 10 and have unlimited money every dress is a compromise.

Hello!

The dress that I think I want is a Maggie Soterro dress called Adriana with a matching jacket and purse (for my fags!) but I don\'t know how to post it. Please, Bev, can you do it for me?

I should just add for anyone that isn\'t seeing the pics (and is getting a little red cross) its just because the browser window opens the page too fast for them to load sometimes. If you dont see a pics right click on it and select Show Picture. It may take several attmepts, so patience is in order, but it will work . . . eventually. ;)

Gorgeous dress btw. ;)

I love your jacket Jane, very elvis!

Lynsey, do you know what your BMs will be wearing yet - I\'m not sure how much I want to go down the gold route as it\'s only subtle bodice embroidery so far.

Jane- that dress is gorgeous!
Bev- is asymetrical A-line? If so then it is!! can\'t find my dictionary!!
Roz- I\'m hoping to get a pic up of the BM\'s dresses in the next couple of days. I agree with you on the to much gold thing, so I have gone for an ivory dress it is sleeveless with a long gathered skirt overlaid with ivory crystal organza and a gold crystal organza sash to tie them in.

Jane,

I tried that dress on - it is fab! The jacket looked silly with my long hair though, and I didn\'t want to put it up. I\'ve gone for a different Maggie Sottero dress, Georgiana. I love the way her dresses fit so nicely under the bust and pull your waist in at the middle! I might get a stole made to go with it.

I\'m so excited! I\'m getting it from Confetti and Lace in Farnham - I can\'t recommend them enough.

Charlotte:D

The picture really doesn\'t do it any justice you can\'t see any of the details it has lots of little beads on it:no: I can\'t wait to show a better picture I\'m so happy with it, it took about 8 hours to make but only cost £4.50!! definatley worth the work!!

Hello!

Here\'s a piccie of my dress if you\'re still interested in this topic!!! Not sure what you lot are like, but I love looking at people\'s wedding dresses!!

Message to Charlotte, I also got my dress from Confetti and Lace in Farnham, and I totally agree, they were absolutely lovely! better than a certain bridal shop in Farnborough, which I won\'t mention but it\'s next to KFC!!!!

I like the bodice detail. It\'s pretty, but simple and it almost looks tailored... I like it, anyway.:D
