I know they're only evening invites, and I dont get married until June, but....... I sent out about 30 evening invites 2 weeks ago & have only had 3 replies!!
I'm sure if I was invited to a wedding reception I would reply the same day I received the invite Or am I being unfair!!!!!!!!! (I think I'll leave it a while before 'chasing' everyone!!!!)

I'm not getting married until September but I'm pretty sure I'll feel the same as you if hardly anyone replies.......

I sometimes reply to invites straight away sometimes it takes me a while, depends if I have to sort anything out before I can say for definate that I can go!!

Hang in there and I'm sure you'll get more replies, it wouldn't surprise me if people don't reply but still turn up to the evening bash!!!

When we sent out our day invitations, guaranteed most people replied within a week, however with evening invitations, people seem to think that they don't have to come back straight away.

Our evening replies (we sent 70 out) trickled back over 4 or 5 weeks and some people didn't reply, simply turned up on the night.

I was really panicking because I thought there would be hardly anyone there in the evening - but the place was packed.

Just take a deep breath and don't worry about those that haven't replied to you yet - you've probably got enough to be getting on with without worrying about the slackers

I think a lot of people who haven't organised a wedding before, don't think what goes into the big day, and the stress involved.

I'm sure they are not being rude or difficult - just not thinking! Plus if they have only been invited to the evevning, they might not realise that you need exact numbers etc.
