Smile woohoo, i'm a Mrs!

We finally did it, after months of planning, i can finally say, i am Daniels wife, and it feels GREAT!!

We had so many things go wrong before hand - like spending the night before in A&E till 9pm with Daniels gran who fell and broke her wrist. Two of the bridesmaid dresses not fitting and after a frantic search to get someone to fix them, didnt get them back till 10.30 pm on Friday, and then still not able to get one of them to fit on the day.

My mum was almost passing out with the stess of it all, as her and the wedding co-ordinator tried to squeeze my sister into her dress and lace up the back. At 1.45 (the wedding was at two) i still didnt have any make up on and was still in trackies.

Everyone was comenting on how calm i was, as i put up the bridesmaids hair and helped with their make up. At 1.55 i finally had a chance to get ready, I put my make up on (which surprisingly took me five mins instead of my usual 30) and got dressed.

I could hear the piper start and my dad come up to get me, as soon as i picked up my bouquet and he walked into the room, i just burst into tears and started shaking like a leaf. I was so nervous, but just gripped onto my dad and headed down the stairs. We stopped for photos on the stairs then walked down to the main entrance.

It had been forcast for heavy rain and the wedding we had so hoped for outside looked like it was going to be indoors, but to our surprise it was gorgeous.

We walked outside and across the lawn, down to the sundial at the botton of the garden, everyone was seated in the sun and it just looked lovely everywhere i looked people were crying. It was just so emotional, i really tried hard to hold it together, and as i got down, i caught sight of my stepdad, who was crying, but to my surprise i managed it.

Daniel looked amazing in his kilt and I will never forget the look on his face when he saw me, he had a tear in his eye too.

We managed our vows, even tho our voices were both really shaky. Even when a wasp flew into my veil and then into my hair as we said them I am really scared of wasps and all i could hear as i said my vows was a contant buzzing right by my ear

It all seemed to be over far too quickly, the rest of the day just flew in, but we had such an amazing time The weather was great, food was great, people were great. it was just GREAT I want to do it all again

i really should go now, i only popped on to say what a great time i had, i kinda got a bit carried away.

Will post some pics as soon as we get them
