wow what a lush cake!!:) i quite liked one like that for our wedding but i changed my colour scheme from gold to lilac so were having a more traditional one now 3 tiers in a flower sort of shape with flowers made from icing flowing down the one side. (if you catch my drift!)

how did you manage to post your piccie!??????? (can you send me an idiot proof step by step!!!!!!)

Wow!! What a cake!!
I think we\'ll be doing the M&S thing as a lot of people don\'t really care about the cake that much and it seems silly to spend money on something people won\'t even eat, although, given the budget, I\'d have a cake like yours like a shot!!:D
And well done for posting a picture. I expect you\'ve made Bev\'s day!!:saint:

I agree with you on the price thing for a cake like mine it would cost about £180 to make it is costing about £20!!!
Thats what made my mind up!!!

BTW forgot to say in original post we\'re only having 2 layers and the top one will be sponge. Made the bottom layer the other day turned out really well so thats gone to my sisters while we\'re moving so it can get slowly drunk!!:lol:
