New Flower Mag
So has anyone gone out and bought the new flower magazine?
I was desparate to see it, as we were finalising our flowers - but I have to say it is the most disappointing magazine ever, it is almost identical to the last one.... so my advice if you bought the last one don't bother wasting £3.90 on the new one!
Sorry about the rant...

There is only one flower mag on sale here and I keep checking for new ones. Unforunately I think it's quarterly!

So if it's your first time of buying is it worth it?

Yeah - I found the first one really useful... its much more focused on the bouquets though - didn't find it overly helpful (personally) when it came to table decorations etc.
Basically there are hundreds of different styles of bouquet and different types of flower -so you get a good idea what look you are after.

I found it really useful, I got some ideas about my boquet, BM's boquets, table decorations and some other stuff, so I thought it was worth the money.

Yup - definitely worth buying.... all I was saying was that if you bought the magazine last time around (it only comes out 1 x per year) don't buy this one.... they are too similar.
Very useful for advice on teh bouquets - not much help when it comes to table decorations though.

I want orchids for my bouquet with some little pale blue flowers too. Phalenopsis Orchids or something.
Not sure what to have for bridesmaids either. Little ones are having fluffy wands and I think I might get my big ones a nice evening bag (if I can find one) and just have a very small hand tied posy.

I want blue in my bouquet as well, as that is my colour scheme as well as silver.
Decisions decisions, it is helped tho, cause I'm having silk, so I will be able to have a lot of choice!
Just got to decide on the bm's now!

Karen,
The magazine is called Wedding Flowers and is available in most newsagents, WHsmiths etc. Think its published by the same people that do Wedding and Home.

em,
thanks for letting us know it for sale.. i went out last night and bought it.
Its pretty good - might go with the hydrangea bouquet..
was a bit worried where it states something along the lines of "centre your wedding around the roses" though...!! I mean - thought it should be centred on getting married...!!

No Mel... you are confused again!
All weddings should be centred around roses.... the wedding is secondary! hahahahah
