Weddingy day.... - Wedding Forum

Well, we had a productive day yesterday! I went for my first dress fitting (will post another thread when I download the pics) - suffice to say the designer and his offsider got watery eyes and sniffles when I put it on!

My lovely H2B went to pick up some more invitations (all by himself to a place he has never been) and got exactly the right ones!

We did our gift registry (no bar code zapper boo hoo), well most of it anyway.

Had nice lunch. Retrieved suit from his parents house. And home in time to watch the football which sadly our team lost (out of the finals now).

How good is that?! And he was so good doing the gift thing, exactly what every woman wants - he knew what he wanted on there and what we should have, and things where he had no idea he told me he had no opinion and I could choose! Hooray!

Awww, sounds like a cool day. How on earth can you do a gift list with no Zapper?????? That is a crime

Yes, the no zapper was cruel, just pen and paper for us sadly. But we got most of it done anyway, took a lunch pause in the middle which helped no end.

I feel very mercenery doing a gift list, but apparently it is the kindest thing for travelling guests. Oh well! Wonder if anyone will get us anything!!!
