Hi

I need a wing collar shirt for my 7 year old son, anyone got any ideas where I can get one from either online or on the high street?

I looked in there last weekend, but they have discontinued their wedding stock until next season.

i think moss brothers sell them, i need to get one for my godson and i am sure they said we can buy them at the shop, i'll need to check that out this week

The ironic thing is we are hiring the suits from there and they told us they didn't hire the shirts. What they didn't say was that we coud buy them from them.

Since checking there website it appears not all stores stock them, so have to find out which ones do.

when we booked the suit they told us the same thing we couldn't hire them but we could buy then i 'll need to check that this week

H2b has just had this conversation with moss bros..

I have called a Moss Bros store in Covent Garden, the woman was as
helpful as a hole in the head. She said they don't do kids shirt, I
told her about the website saying they do, she said well we don't .
I called the H/O customer care said they do £12.95 and tried to put
me through to someone who could tell me which store I could get them
from.

The voicemail was on and I left a message for them to call me. I
suspect they wont call me and I will try them again this afternoon.

Arrrrgggghhhh!!!!

Will let you know what they say IF they phone us back.

The big BHS in Birmingham still does the wedding stuff, maybe a bigger one would do it?

just seen your reply chatterbax, i'lll ring trafford center branch tomorrow and see if i can get any joy there and will let you knoe, and as nikki says there is always bhs, when do you need the shirt for?

what dates your wedding. mine is 3 weeks too 0ct 5th i was going to say maybe i could get them for you but i won't be home till about 3 days befor then so maybe thast not that much help

We get married on October 11th, but fly to Cyprus for the wedding on Oct 6th.

So are you excited then?

I'm still finding it hard to believe that it's going to happen. I don't think the excitement will kick in until we are at the airport.

its getting very 'real' now somehow it has seemed a little like a story uptill now, its sinking in now that this is for real and in less than 3 weeks i will be a married women, but yes it is very exciting

so you're getting married in cypress, that is cool, we will want pictures you know we are a nosey bunch here and we love details

I am a hitched regular, but I love this site for being different and helping the bigger brides too.

I use mgw along with hitched when I have an important question. I like to get as many replies as possible.

I remember Bev when she was Dreamwatch on hitched before mgw started. Really pleased she managed to make this site work.

Congrats Bev from one big beautiful bride to another.

i'm the other way round, i do post ebvery now and agian on hitched but tend to come here first i find it difficult to keep up with hitched, but it is fun too, i like this place for the suppost you get for being a bigger bride too, i've lost a bit of weight but i'm still a plus size bride

I gave up trying to lose weight. It didn't work. The more I thought about dieting the more I wanted to eat.

Anyhow, I'm off to bed now. Been nice chatting. Will let you know if I have any joy with the shirts.

Moss Bros rang back. Yippeeee.

This is what they said, for those of you interested.

Moss bros just returned my call. She said she can get them to the
store near work from the w/house. She will call the store today and
remind them of the procedure. I can then call in tomorrow.

so, the search is over, my pageboys won't have to wear tshirts with their suits.

glad you got sorted i spoke to moss bros today aswell, they said all the stores should stock them and depending on what store you go to they do sometimes hire them aswell, he reason being the comany keeps changing its mind about procedure but what ever our boys will have shirts to wear
