when I kiss you goodnight I will
hold you a little tighter, a little longer. It is then, that I will thank
God for you, and ask him for nothing,
Ooh ooh, Sparklygirl, my parents have lived in Sale for the last 12 years but just about to move to retire to East Yorkshire. My Dad was the vicar of St Peters Church, on Springfield Road opposite the shopping centre.
I was born in Hyde, grew up near Chester and now live in Huddersfield.
I'm getting married in Sale at St.Martins Church down Church Lane. Ask him if he knows it. What a small world. I went to Sale Grammar!!!! When did you move away????

Well, my parents moved to Sale a few months after I had moved to Huddersfield in 1988 to go to University so I never spent much time in Sale, apart from holidays. During holidays, I worked in the pub thats next to the Railway station (can't remember what it was called), used to be a Porthouse restaurant and I worked on the cocktail bar. That was before it was shut down and redeveloped because of drug problems!
My dad has probably taken the odd service at St Martins.
