Simple Stationery - Wedding Forum

I have been looking for some simple wedding stationery that ties in with my red rose colour scheme. Trouble is the only design I like so far is from JoBlue.com. I have heard some bad reports about them and they haven't sent me the samples I ordered last Thursday yet, or replied to the e-mail I sent this morning. :hmm:

:confused: Can any of you well informed groovers recommend some online suppliers that I cold look at. All the ones I have found so far are too fancy for me. Even just the traditional card style invitations with red writing would be good.

I used JoBlue and they were excellent, took about 4 days for the samples to arrive. I used to phone or fax them to keep in contact, and they would always phone me back when they said they would!!

Don't give up on them yet, this is their busiest time of year (I know, it's when I ordered my invites too!)

Thanks for that. I wont write them off yet. I do really like the rose design. I guess I am just impatience to start organising everything.

See what www.otterypress.co.uk can do for you. They don't necessarily do "designs" but they do do simple...

And I love talking about my wedding!!!

It is all happening on the 24th May 2003, which sometimes seems ages away but other times really close, normally when I am trying to work out all the things I have to do.

Booked the registrar and the venue. It is all happening at Bickley Manor Hotel www.bickleymanor.co.uk

So far that is as far as we've got. The DJ is a friend of ours so that shouldn't be a problem and we are hoping that Marc's (he's the lucky man) Uncle will do the photos for us. MiL2B is going to do the flowers. We are also going to ask my Mum's friend to do the cake.

I am going to a local bridal shop in Bromley on Saturday with my mum and I am so excited!!!!

We were originally going to wait till 2005 (long rugby related reasons) but then couldn't wait. Only decided to bring it forward to next year in August so I feel a little behind. What about everyone else. Are you all more organised than me, wouldn't be hard.

I got married a year ago (yesterday infact!) and am still totally obssessed by weddings (seriously conseidering taking up a wedding related profession!!!)

Cupid is getting married in May next year too (also bought forward due to rugby season!) and I am her CBM/MOH which is exciting!

You might want to have a look at this website, if you have not had any luck with joblue yet.

We got ours from here, they were very helpful and professional.

I think a lot of people made their own on here to have what they wanted - swing over to Crafty Brides and ask how they did it!!!!
