Found IT!!!!! - Wedding Forum

So Shocked!

Looked at so many.....went on my own, with friends, with mum gran and sister....could find the one

so many hassles I didn't believe in the "myth" of there being THE dress

Anyway.....stuck in Sydney on a business trip

......went dress shopping with a couple of colleagues wives....and....when NOT expecting it, I found IT. Yes, THE dress, and bought it, off the shelve (fitted like it coulda been MADE for me).

How excited am I. So taking it back to Hong Kong with me so I can bring it home at Christmas to the UK.....SO happy

Yeaaaaaaaaah! Whey-hey

Only problem (aprt from my cbm can't see it yet for a while

), is that it's a one off from this store (apart from a few other sizes of the same) and so I've no piccies

waaaaaahhhhhhh!

What to do??? :confused:

That's great news!!! Well done!!

The dresses in Sydney are gorgeous, I had a look over there when I went with my mum 2 years ago!

Have you got a digital camera? We'd love to see a piccie of it

Wow - I'm still waiting for that "It's the one!" moment...

See if you can find a friend with a digital camera, or take a normal pic and scan it - you know we love to see everything!!

Can you tell us the name of the store or designer? Maybe we can find a pic of something similar? That's what I did with mine until the real version was ready.

The shop was Mode for Brides and they design their own stuff as "one offs" and sell them and that's ya lot...then they design different ones.

Anyways, when I collect it (in a few weeks!

) I will take a piccie. They get a bit funny taking piccies with no more than a deposit on it

I guess I'll have to keep you all in suspense for now

I'll certainly keep you posted.
