honeymoon headache - Wedding Forum

have got major problem! (well not really but i feel a bit let down). my mum and dad have just returned from tenerife where we were planning for our honeymoon, anyway they said that the canary islands are haing a major cockroach outbreak, and that its awful! mum said you could hear them scuttling about in the night (they weren't staying in a dive either, it was a 4* hotel, )and you could see them in the street when you were out walking in the evenings.
we hae therefore cancelled the apartment in tenerife!
any more ideas? anyone?
we need: to only go for 4 nights
to not have to go too far
to go somewhere warm and sunny

ie, it will be our only hol abroad alone until charlie is much older so i want to get some sun and enjoy myself!

You could go to Rome - very romantic and lovely, warn in the summer and spring, and close by for a four day trip!

Sorry to hear that you have had to cancel, at least you know before you got there!!

Port El Kantaoui in Tunisia. You'd only need 4 days there, as it's quite a small town, but it's clean and the people are really friendly (and the food good and cheap

) and the weather is lovely!

Or I'd 2nd Italy, but if you want something quieter, try Sorrento, it's just simply breathtaking!

The north of Majorca is supposed to be lovely - much less touristy - and you can easyjet to Palma. Sorted...
