. . . a very large thread has been removed. Now, Mark and I did mull over this for some considerable amount of time, mostly because the last thing we want all of you to think is that we are being heavy handed, but in the end decided it should go.

Although I 100% agree with all your points, and your motivations, I also think that the best thing about this board is the very fact that we are different to the others. We have a fantastic atmosphere here, which is always pointed out by new comers, and everyone is incredibly funny and has a fab sense of humour. By bogging ourselves down with issues concerning other boards I think that we just sink to their level - and to be fair, it is only a handful of people on those other boards that are a bit, erm, 'wanting' (as a friend of mine says ). The most annoying thing I find when I visist other boards is being confronted by threads with women slagging off another board. I would prefer it if we didn't have to deal with that here too.

However, I'm glad you all had so much fun!!
