Question Dessert Ideas for Menu?

You have given me such good ideas for starters I thought I'd ask for some alternative suggestions about dessert too!

what's your main?

Chocolate always goes down well, but if everything else has been rich, I like something a bit "zingy"

Fresh Strawberries served with cream and a shortbread biscuit

Fruit salad with Kirsch and cream

Eve’s Pudding

Hot apple sponge pudding with custard sauce

Chocolate and Pear Tarte served with Brandy Cream

Home made fresh-fruit Pavlova

Chocolate Roulade served on a summer fruit Coulis

Lemon Cheesecakes served with Chocolate Cream

Bramley Apples cooked in a deep crust short pastry with cinnamon and cream

Chocolate Torte served on a bed of Summer Fruits & cream

A Duo of Strawberries and Profiteroles

Personally i love the sound of Chocolate and Pear Tarte served with Brandy Cream mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmm!!!

Depends on your main but little individual desserts are very in at the mo - white chocolate and vanilla souflee, mini tiramisu, that sort of thing......

Or something fruity if you had a heavy main! Raspberry mousse thing is what we are having!

I've been to 2 weddings this year (one being my own!) and we had passion fruit at both of them!
At our wedding one of the dessert optione was Passion Fruit Torte. It was absolutely STUNNING!

I'd say either something chocolately or fruity & refreshing.

thanks everyone for the ideas. For main course we are having Peppered Roast Sirloin of Beef with Yorkshire Pudding and red wine sauce.

This is what I was thinking of having for pud, its a bit similar to your pear and choccy tarte Bianca

Pear William Charlotte with chocolate & Grand Marnier Mousse on a delicate almond cream sauce. What do you think?

I think it sounds lovely but not sure if I want something a bit more chocolately as I am such a chocoholic
