I got my invites - Wedding Forum

I am very excited. I recieved all my wedding stationary yesterday.

I ordered it from Jo Blue and it is really nice. I saved over £40 because they were on special offer (the only reason I have ordered them this early as I am not getting married till May).

I just can't believe it. I ordered them on Friday in the afternoon and I got the proof on saturday morning. I then faxed the proof back on Tuesday. They refaxed another proof to make sure all the changes where there. I faxed that one back and on Wednesday all of the stationary arrived. I didn't pay any extra for express delivery or anything.

They look fantastic - the exact wording I want. I am so excited I just want to send them out to everybody now but I have to wait till January.

These are the invites I have gone for in yellow/gold. I have got matching evening, place cards and blank thank you cards.

Awwwwwwwww they look lovely no wonder your dying to send them out now. But January will be here before we now it

Im now panicing lol as im gettong married in May 2 and have sooooo much to do.

I'm so pleased you decided to go with them, they were so helpful to me too! And I took up the same offer by the sound of it, I ordered mine at this time for a September wedding

!!!

Remember to take one of each invite/placecard etc for your own personal file. Mine are now in with all the wedding cards so that my children will be able to see what we chose!

Thanks guys,

With having yellow flowers and yellow/gold bridesmaids I thought the more pastel look would go with the theme well.

I am ever so pleased.

Thanks Lo, I am pleased I took your advice and went with them. They even sent me a fair few extra so I should have plenty left over. I will have to remember to put one aside.

It sounds really sad, but I actually feel as though the wedding is pulling itself together now. Just having the stationary and the bridesmaid dresses really makes me feel as though shed loads has been done.
