Default Bloke chooses his outfit ....

Well, wandering around town with lovely B2B this afternoon, popped into Moss Bros and hey presto! 20 minutes later I\'ve selected my outfit for the wedding

It may change before the wedding but I\'m pretty happy with it. And I guess since Karen has agreed to it (albeit with doubt about the length of the jacket, but that can be changed easily by going for a shorter length) then it is a legitimate choice with no political issues :P

Anyhow, for you to throw your opinions into the hat, in the following posts, I\'ve attached the picture of the jacket (the trousers are normal grey striped), the design of the waistcoat and the cravat.

Can someone explain to this ignoramus what a cravat is? :o

I have no idea what I\'m wearing at the moment, just that\'s it\'s a suit of come sort - inspiration is yet to strike

Default To Mark ...

A cravat is like a big fancy tie, which more or less covers the area of shirt in the \"V\" created by the waistcoat.

I\'ve attached a B&W picture of one from the Moss Bros website ....

All looks very posh! :D

I think Mark is currently going for the no tie at all look (I had originally thought he might wear a nice silky lavender/prurple one, but he\'s not keen on them at all). After seeing a pic of Jamie Oliver with the top button of his shirt undone and no tie I\'m actually not bothered about it anymore. :)

I\'m leaning more towards the swish \'stone-washed jeans and Iron Maiden tee\' option... don\'t know if I\'ll be allowed tho ;):lol:

But Chris wants a nehru jacket, which is quite hard to hire I think, especially in black (cos he\'s not wearing an entirely pale suit! Won\'t let him!
