Okay, okay!!!
I haven\'t had time to read all your messages yet!
I\'m getting married to Ben (my lobster) on 5th July 2002 at a church near Shrewsbury. Not long to go!! But long enough to keep changing my mind about everything...
I\'ve got two bridesmaids a flower girl and a page boy lined up.
So far I\'ve ordered my dress (after much mind changing) and the BM dresses. THe church is booked, the reception booked (Rowton Castle hotel - v yummy!).
We\'re going to the Bahamas for our honeymoon - woooohooooo!!! best bit i reckon! hohoho
And our gift list will be with thomas cook to pay for it or for a boat to paddle there!! All donations welcome ;)
You can see more about me on my new, but not completed website:
www.angelfire.com/me/MelsPad
Right - your turn now, please!!

Hello Mel! Glad you dropped by. :)
I should point out there is a teeny bug in the board - we are supposed to be able to read every message thats ever been posted, but unfortunately when they drop of the front page they sort of disapear. So not sure if allour gory detaisl are still around.
Good news is though that I should be getting a fancy new board for Christmas so I won\'t have to use a frebby one anymore - this will mean we\'ll have loads of excellent features to use and they will allwork!!

As it is 1.30 in the morning and I am in no mood for sleeping just yet I shall give you a run down. :)
Marrying Mark on Friday 28th June 2002 at The Farringford Hotel in Freshwater Bay, Isle of Wight. Small wedding - less than 50 guests all day and evening. Having to book everything from Australia, and starting to get fed up about it - especially as we\'re on a small budget and trying to explain that to people in an email is tricky. ;) Have ordered my dress (you\'ll find pics in the What are you wearing forum) and thats about it. :( Very disorganised.

2 am here now and its a little on the warm side! And it\'s only spring! :o A bit tired, will probably head off in a bit - A little fed up tonight. Been away from home for almost 7 months and this is a very isolating place to be if you don\'t know anyone and can\'t drive. MArk works very hard (although thank God from home so we still spend all our time together!! :)) so we can\'t go on big trips, and the one we did go on was a disaster. We drove for 4 hours to go away for the weekend and to see the whales that come here for 3 months every year. Would you believe it was cancelled due to bad weather? The first bit of bad weather I had seen here in months and it just lasted that day! AARRGGHH!! Couldn\'t afford to reschedule another trip and the whales have gone for another year. :(
Brisbane is beautiful, although very quiet. Blue skies nearly every day, and it gets incredibly hot in the summer (normally kicks in on Christmas dady apprently!). Not looking forward to too much heat and humidity. :( Otherwise its gorgeous. :)

Hi bev
wow - i\'ve just turned down going home early - everyone else is sneaking off but I want to meet ben after work. If i sneak off now I\'ll only end up looking in shops and getting fed up at not being able to buy anything!!
As a treat, I bought myself a recorder yesterday (pay-day!). Don\'t ask why - I just miss not having one! I haven\'t told ben yet cos he\'ll think I\'ve lost the plot. plus he doesn\'t know how much noise I\'ll be creating with it when it arrives!! :D
Anyhow, don\'t feel down, Bev. I know it must be hard for you being away from home and not knowing anyone. I was like that when I moved to London - especially after the novetly wore off after about 6 months.
Are you coming back to the UK permanently in May?
I\'m always bored at work, so I daresay we\'ll be doing lots of nattering from now on!
Take care and keep smiling!
Mel

A recorder?! Funny I was thinking of getting one myself the other day - the neighbours kids keep playing theis all the flipping time and I thought I\'d give them a taste of their own medicine.
We are coming back permanently - so thats more aggro - Marks visa. Absolutely dreading that. I keep imagining sitting in a darkened room with a light shining in my face.
I think I will head off to bed - it\'s 2.15am!! :o
Take care Mel!!

How is your H2B about living in the uK?
Goodnight!! I might follow some of the others down the pub for half an hour...

Did I know you played the recorder?
I tried finding a teacher when I lived in Suffolk. i seemed to be better than most of them as they taught really basic stuff to kids. Maybe I should try again when the kids are older.
