Default Which Dress?

I'm still looking for a pre-loved one but i tried two Alfred Angelo crackers today.

Everything I said I wouldn't go for (ivory, strapless, I thought they'd be BORING!) but they DID suit.

The first one was £599, the second about £850 with specialist short-ass alteration!

I can't make up my mind! I like the train on the second one, but the bodice on the first one...

They are both lovely though

probably the 1st for me (as it also sort of reminds me of mine!) but the 2nd is VERY pretty. So I'm no help at all!

I agree with K. But just looking at the neck line on the second one - don't want to ask a personal question, but have you got the bust to carry it off? I know that I haven't. It's just something I would think of if I was choosing between the two dresses.
They are both nice though, let us know which one you choose.

Bit of a personal question, but how tall are you? I am a whopping 5ft, and struggled with dresses, but found a lovely M aggie S ottero one (caled Jill coincidently,) that didn't look too butchered when it was cut down to size. Good luck!

They're both really lovely but I preferred the first one as I liked the neck line and detail better.

Good luck with the choosing!

I'm 5' 2" so having the second WOULD mean having it especially done to keep all the detail on the train (an extra 10%) but the bust-line is not a problem *LOL*

I'm leaning towards the first as it fit me better. I'm only being stubborn because all along it was exactly what I said I wouldn't have, but now I love it!!

Thanks for all your good advice
