Best way to sell bridesmaid dresses? - Wedding Forum

I have just phoned the dress makers after a year of them having the dresses

to repair the hems. They still have them and I am collecting them next week - four of them. They had my number written down wrong so couldn't call me.

What would you suggest is the best way to sell them? I need to have a clear out, and the extra cash would come in handy for the baby. There is the bay of e but second hand bridesmaid dresses don't seem to do so well on there, if I try and sell them on there - what do you think is a reasonable price? Do buy it now or just auction?

Any other suggestions?

Try advertising in your local paper. |We sold our old kitchen that way and got £800 for it

Sounds like a good idea. What do you think is a reasonable price? They cost about £150 each and have been cleaned. There's four of them.

Oooh i dont know. Have a read through the paper and see what others are asking for theirs. Have you got a pic of them?

Not a good pic handy. Plus when our hard drive died we lost the software to resize photos so I need to get round to re-installing it. It doesn't take long, I guess I've just been lazy!

I think I just need to be realistic and see what the others are asking. At the end of the day there'll just gather dust and any money is better than nothing. I'll have a look in the f ree a ds like you suggest and see what others ask - good idea.
